目的 观察凋亡是否为视网膜母细胞瘤 (RB)细胞死亡的主要方式。方法 应用光镜 (16例 )、电镜 (4例 )及TUNEL标记 (12例 )对RB进行观察研究。结果 光镜下凋亡细胞大多位于退化区。电镜下可见不同凋亡阶段的RB细胞 ,占瘤细胞死亡的 42 %。TUNEL标记阳性细胞大多位于肿瘤退化区。凋亡指数 (AI)在未分化型和放疗后的RB中明显增高 (P <0 0 5 ) ,与视神经受累与否及临床分期无关 (P >0 0 5 )。结论 凋亡可能是导致RB细胞死亡的主要形式 ,诱导凋亡可作为促使RB退化的一种手段
Objective To observe whether apoptosis is the main way of retinoblastoma (RB) cell death. Methods RB was observed with light microscope (16 cases), electron microscope (4 cases) and TUNEL marker (12 cases). Results Most of the apoptotic cells in the light microscope were located in the degeneration area. Under the electron microscope, RB cells of different apoptosis stages were observed, accounting for 42% of the death of tumor cells. TUNEL positive cells are mostly located in the tumor degeneration area. Apoptotic index (AI) was significantly higher in undifferentiated and RB patients after radiotherapy (P <0.05), not related to optic nerve involvement or clinical stage (P> 0.05). Conclusion Apoptosis may be the main form leading to the death of RB cells. Inducing apoptosis may be used as a means to promote the degeneration of RB
