“Philosophy is inconclusive ” is an important philosophical question that Chinese philosophers clearly put forward and discussed again and again in the 20th century. Its essence is based on the exploration of philosophical nature by modern philosophy. This question has been clearly put forward and heatedly discussed in Chinese philosophy of the 20th century. It is the result of the two ideas of humanism and scien- tism transcending the mutual relations of philosophy and science. Yan Fu, Wang Guowei, Zhang Junmai, Ding Wenjiang, Xiong Shili and He Lin explored this issue in the first half of the 20th century. Chen Xiuzhai’s “Thinking on the Nature of Philosophical Problems”, published in 1988, from the perspective of metaphysics and in combination with Marxist philosophy, gives a new interpretation of this issue and makes it clear in the Chinese Marxist philosophy Highlight.
