Close to reality, close to life and close to the masses are the concrete manifestation of news units’ practice of the important thinking of the ’Three Represents.’ They are the key measures for improving the core competitiveness of the newspaper and are the working principles that the party newspapers must persevere for a long time. We should always adhere to the principle of “three closeness” so as to continuously enhance the pertinence, effectiveness, attraction and appeal of public opinion guidance.
