从1990年以来,我国科学家强祖基等在国家科委、国家地震局的支持下,在国家卫星气象中心赁常恭等的协助下,运用卫星遥感、红外扫描、计算机地理信息系统处理等高新技术,对地震短临预报进行了研究。
