After graduating from Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications in 1988, Yang Jiyong was assigned to work in Kaifeng Municipal Bureau of Telecommunications and served successively as chief of process control exchange department, chief of telecommunication department, chief of technical equipment department and director of marketing department.
