语言是社会文化的一部分,不同的民族拥有不同的文化,相同的词语因为不同的文化反映在语言上就表现的有所不同。英汉不同的文化背景导致颜色词在两种语言中有不同的文化内涵。本文以英汉中的“红、蓝”为主要切入点来阐述其所反应的英汉两种语言的文化差异。 Language is part of social culture. Different peoples have different cultures. The same words appear differently because of different cultural reactions. The different cultural backgrounds of English and Chinese cause the color words to have different cultural connotations in the two languages. This article uses the “red and blue” of English and Chinese as the main starting point to illustrate the cultural difference between the two languages.
