Oral publicity, newspaper publicity, new book spread is the media and content that Western social science spread in Wuhan. The introduction of western social sciences in the late Qing Dynasty not only strongly promoted the cultural exchange between China and the West and Japan at the time in Wuhan, but also promoted the emancipation of people’s minds. Meanwhile, it had a positive impact on the growth and development of the new intellectuals and the outbreak of Wuchang Uprising.
