Objective: To analyze the clinical features of vascular access in elderly patients with hemodialysis and explore its nursing strategies. Methods: A retrospective analysis of clinical care of 116 elderly patients receiving renal dialysis in our hospital from March 2009 to September 2013 was performed. To explore the clinical features and nursing methods of vascular access in elderly hemodialysis patients. Results: The catheterization rate of elderly patients was 56.90% higher than that of internal fistulas 43.10%. The rate of catheter complications was 33.33% higher than that of fistulas 16.00%. The difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). CONCLUSIONS: There are relatively many patients in elderly patients who choose catheterization for vascular access. Therefore, the clinical nursing of senile patients should be given targeted care to speed up the onset of endometriosis and reduce the rate of complications of catheterization, so as to ensure the efficacy of vascular access in patients Sexuality and safety.
