2014年是“新工笔”的丰收年,特别是当年的秋拍,将当代新工笔画家的作品价格整体带到了一个新的层次,特别是青年一代的王冠军、张见、徐华翎、姜吉安、秦艾、孙震生等,在这一年作品的最高价都被带到了百万元以上,让我们不禁对这一领域有了无限的想象,仿佛新工笔已经成为拍场上必不可少的“保留曲目”。“新工笔”阵营从某种意义上满足了中产阶级的审美需求,也丰富了拍卖场上形式的多样性,反观民国工笔画的阵营却还迟迟没有迎来价值回归的春天。
