宽严相济的刑事政策作为一项基本的刑事政策在我国已经确立。该政策在减刑中贯彻和运用时,应注意区别对待受刑罪犯;应“当宽则宽、当严则严”;应严格依法地适用减刑。
The criminal policy of tempering justice with mercy has been established in our country as a basic criminal policy. When the policy is implemented and applied in the commutation of the sentence, attention should be paid to treating the criminals in a discriminatory manner. It should be “wide and broad and strictly strict” and should be punished strictly according to law.
