从文化社会功能的角度考察,社会核心价值体系是一个由核心价值观统领的社会理想和价值目标、民族精神风尚和行为规范等要素构成的有机统一的价值观念系统,是体现理论观念和实践观念相统一的价值体系;在整个社会价值体系中,社会核心价值体系与其他价值观念、价值体系之间存在着主导、整合、包容等复杂的相互作用关系。因此,建设社会主义和谐文化,需要积极进行社会主义核心价值体系的理论和实践创新,也需要协调社会主义核心价值体系与其他价值观念、价值体系之间的关系,以最大限度地形成人民群众对中国特色社会主义事业的共识。
