雕刻技术在我国历史早已有之,而且经过千百年的发展已达到非常高的水平,其中的艺术水平和雕刻技术早已成为中华民族的瑰宝,被广泛运用于社会的各个领域。但随着社会的飞速发展、科技水平的不断提高和材料种类的不断增加,手工雕刻已不能满足社会的发展需要,手工生产毕竟精度有限且不能够保持产品的一致性,各种材料的不断出现,于是材料特性的不同,加工强度各异,雕刻机的产生成为必然。目前市场有电脑雕刻机,激光雕刻机和模具雕刻机。以下介绍几种雕刻机的特点及运用。
