二胡又称胡琴、南胡,在我国各地都有流传,是一种深受人们喜爱的民族拉弦乐器。 要上溯二胡这一乐器的渊源,笔者以为可从以下三个方面进行探讨: 一、乐器名称 我国拉弦乐器品种繁多,单在汉族地区就有20多个品种~①。以琴筒的振动面的材料来看,可分为皮膜和板面两大类,它们的形制不同,声响各异,各具特色,可谓琳琅满目。在民间,通常把这类细长琴杆、小琴筒、琴弓夹在两根弦之间拉奏的乐器都称为胡琴,为京胡、板胡、四胡、二胡等,均统称为“胡琴”。
