通过理论文献综述和对上海家化与美国庄臣公司、比亚迪汽车与戴姆勒公司建立的两个跨国技术战略联盟进行跨案例比较研究,建立研究命题和理论框架,通过深入的跨案例分析,研究发现:第一,在比亚迪与戴姆勒的技术战略联盟中,技术合作战略动机是双方合作的主要原因,但技术战略动机没有引发投机行为,根本原因在于双方的相互信任和通过谈判建立规范的合作制度对联盟稳定起到了制约作用。而在上海家化与美国庄臣公司的战略联盟中,家化公司的技术战略动机起到了负向作用,合作机制不完善,而使得美国庄臣公司直接控制了合资公司,导致联盟破裂;第二,在跨国技术战略联盟中,上海家化参与国际合作的时间不长,较少的国际合作经验影响了其参与制定联盟合作机制过程中的谈判能力。而比亚迪和戴姆勒公司都是充分市场化的公司,两家公司都具有相对丰富的国际化经验,在战略资源上有很强的互补性,这些都有助于提高技术战略联盟的稳定性;第三,我国高技术企业在建立跨国技术战略联盟过程中,高效的合作机制的建立和具备一定的战略动机来安排联盟过程尤为重要。
Through theoretical literature review and cross-case comparative study of two transnational technology strategic alliances established by Shanghai Jahwa with the American SC Johnson companies, BYD Automotive and Daimler AG, the research propositions and theoretical framework are established. Through in-depth cross-case analysis, The findings are as follows: Firstly, among the strategic alliances between BYD and Daimler, the strategic motivation of technical cooperation is the main reason for the cooperation between the two parties. However, the strategic motivation of technology does not trigger speculation. The fundamental reason lies in the mutual trust between both parties and the establishment of norms through negotiation The cooperation system has played a restraining role in the alliance’s stability. In the strategic alliance between Jahwa and SC Johnson in Shanghai, Jahwa’s technology strategy motivation played a negative role and the cooperation mechanism was not perfect, which led the United States Johnson and Johnson to control the JV directly, resulting in the collapse of the alliance. Second, in the transnational technology strategic alliance, Shanghai Jahwa did not take part in international cooperation for a long time. Fewer international cooperation experiences have affected its ability to negotiate for the establishment of a coalition cooperation mechanism. Both BYD and Daimler are fully marketed companies. Both companies have relatively rich international experience and strong complementarities in strategic resources, all of which contribute to the stability of the strategic alliances in technology ; Thirdly, it is particularly important for Chinese high-tech enterprises to set up an efficient cooperation mechanism and have a certain strategic motivation in the process of establishing a transnational technology strategic alliance.
