2008年全国中医药工作会议前不久在北京举行。会议的主要任务是:高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜,认真学习贯彻党的十七大精神和科学发展观,深入贯彻落实中央经济工作会议和全国卫生工作会议精神,回顾总结2007年工作进展,研究部署2008年工作任务,进一步解放思想,改革创新,明确重点,狠抓落实,团结和谐,奋发有为,努力开创中医药工作新局面。国务院副总理吴仪出席了2008年全国中医药工作会议并发表了重要讲话,会议由卫生部部长陈竺主持,卫生部党组书记高强出席了会议。卫生部副部长、国家中医药管理局局长王国强作了题为《认真贯彻落实党的十七大精神,努力开创中医药事业发展新局面》的工作报告。来自全国各省、直辖市、自治区的卫生厅、局长出席了会议。
The National Conference on Chinese Medicine in 2008 was held in Beijing shortly before. The main tasks of the conference are to hold high the great banner of socialism with Chinese characteristics, conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the party’s 17th National Congress and the scientific concept of development, and thoroughly implement the spirit of the Central Economic Work Conference and the National Health Work Conference, and review and summarize the progress of work in 2007. Deploy 2008 work tasks to further emancipate the mind, reform and innovate, clarify the key points, pay close attention to implementation, unite and harmony, and work hard to create a new situation in the work of Chinese medicine. Wu Yi, vice premier of the State Council, attended the National Conference on Chinese Medicine in 2008 and delivered an important speech. The meeting was chaired by the Minister of Health Chen Hao, and Party Secretary Gao Qiang of the Ministry of Health attended the meeting. Wang Guoqiang, deputy minister of the Ministry of Health and director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, made a work report entitled “Conscientiously implementing the spirit of the party’s 17th National Congress and striving to create a new situation in the development of Chinese medicine.” Health departments and directors from all provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country attended the meeting.
