The co-precipitation method (without surface agent) was used to prepare the stable Fe_3O_4 magnetorheological fluid and characterized by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy and vibrational sample magnetometer. Polyurethane elastomers were further polymerized in a stable Fe_3O_4 magnetorheological fluid. In addition, the effects of Fe 3 O 4 dosage on mechanical properties, magnetic properties, thermal properties, electrical properties and microwave absorption properties of polyurethane elastomers were studied. The results show that: the synthesis process
