盛家峡水库位于青海湟水河南岸一级支流岗子沟的盛家峡谷(北纬36°22.5’,东经102°21’),库容量450万立方米,坝高35米,建于1980年11月。近几年最高蓄水量为120万立方米,每年10～11月蓄水,第二年3—4月排空,属于年调节型水库。水库地区地处西宁—民和槽地南缘,地层为加里东期黑云母花岗岩和第三纪灰红色砂岩 Shengjiaxia Reservoir is located in the Shengjia Gorge (36 ° 22.5 ’north latitude, 102 ° 21’ east longitude), a grade tributary of Kongzigou, a tributary of the south bank of the Huangshui River in Qinghai Province.
