11月15日中美签署了关于中国加入 WTO 的双边协议,一场持续了13年之久的谈判终于以“中美双赢”落下了帷幕,这为中国在年内加入 WTO 扫清了最大的障碍。WTO 是“世界贸易组织”(WORD TRADE ORGAEZATION)英文名称第一个字母的缩写。据 WTO 刚离任的总干事鲁杰罗估计,中国加入 WTO 后,每年可拉动 GDP 近3个百分点,并创造大约1000万个就业机会。中国的企业将获得扩大外销的权益,中国的经济将由区域经济走向全球经济。中国在加入 WTO 之后
China and the United States signed the bilateral agreement on China’s accession to the WTO on November 15, and a 13-year-long negotiation has finally ended with a “win-win situation between China and the United States.” This cleared out the biggest obstacle for China’s accession to the WTO during the year .
