电视新闻记者从以往的拍新闻、写报道到目前的走上屏幕进行现场采访报道，是电视新闻发展的一大转折，也受到观众的极大欢迎．但是，随着短暂的新鲜感的消失，人们在肯定电视现场新闻这种形式的同时，发现了电视新闻记者在电视屏幕形象方面的不足，主要表现在缺乏人文精神的底蕴，缺乏必要的修养和语言表达能力．电视新闻记者应该珍惜每一次现场采访报道的机会，平时炼好内功，加强文化和道德两方面的修养，注意语言表达和仪表神态的到位和完美，完善公共人格、媒体人格、个休人格的形象体现，在感性与理性、显意识与潜意识的把握上体现记者的风采，使电视新闻记者的屏幕形象更加完善，使电视现场新闻更具生命力。
