原本一块普普通通的怀表,平淡无奇,但它几易其主,凝聚着多位老一辈无产阶级革命家的战斗友谊与共产党人之间的同志真情,感人至深。1920年,瞿秋白作为《晨报》的新闻记者来到莫斯科。当时的苏联正处于反对列强武装干涉和国内战争中,经济十分困难。在苏维埃政府号召捐献时,瞿秋白毫不犹豫地将自己仅有的一块金壳怀表献了出来,而苏维埃政府为感谢他的无私捐献,又回赠给他一块钢壳怀表。从此,这块怀表一直伴随着瞿秋白。
