Natural Disasters A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck Alaska, United States On May 1, a magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck the Alaskan Peninsula in the United States. The epicenter was located 94 kilometers southeast of Arkansas in Kincopoto. There are currently no reports of casualties.
