介绍一种可调分束比2×2单模光纤耦合器。该耦合器由一个非平面3×3单模光纤耦合器将其中一对输入榆出端用反馈光纤连接,通过调节反馈光纤的长度来调节另外两输出端的输出光功率比,而成为一个2×2可调分束比单模光纤耦合器。对这一结构所进行的理论分析给出了在给定3×3耦合器特性情况下,分束比与反馈光纤长度之间的关系。数值计算给出了这一调节关系曲线,同时对这一结构进行了初步的实验分析,制成了带无接点反馈光纤环路的非平面3×3耦合器。通过PZT调节反馈光纤环路的长度,达到了对两输出端光功率比的调节。实验结果与理论计算的结果基本一致。
An adjustable split ratio 2 × 2 single mode fiber coupler is introduced. The coupler consists of a non-planar 3 × 3 single-mode fiber coupler in which one pair of input ends is connected with a feedback optical fiber, and the output optical power ratio of the other two output ends is adjusted by adjusting the length of the feedback optical fiber to become a 2 × 2 adjustable split ratio single mode fiber coupler. The theoretical analysis of this structure gives the relationship between the splitting ratio and the length of the feedback fiber given the 3 × 3 coupler characteristics. The numerical calculation shows the regulation curve. At the same time, a preliminary experimental analysis of this structure is carried out to fabricate a non-planar 3 × 3 coupler with a contactless feedback fiber loop. By adjusting the length of the feedback fiber loop by PZT, the adjustment of the optical power ratio of the two output ends is achieved. The experimental results and theoretical calculations are basically the same.
