在法国,20世纪产生了一系列新奇又切合实际的创造,涉及到各种各样的学科。从吉马尔设计的地铁入口到协和式飞机,从柯布西埃到斯塔尔克,从米其林指南到雪铁龙DS19型汽车,从佩里昂设计的家具到塔隆的高速火车车厢,从南锡学校到“原始”风格从拉利克的花瓶到革萃们(Tse Tse)设计的花瓶,在这一个世纪里,法国不断地将设计调节成一面“世纪的镜子”。由中法文化年中方组委会、中国文化部、中法文化年法方组委会、法国外交部及法国文化通讯部共同主办,中外文化交流中心及法国RGC联合承办的大型设计展览《法国时尚100年》作为法国文化年的开幕展览,将于2004年10月10日至11月18日在中国国家博物馆展出,展览选择了200余件法国顶尖设计物品来阐明这100年的法国生活,通过多个前兆性的小故事来讲述人类斑斓的现代文明。可以说,这是一个关于悠久历史的展览,它生动而细腻地展示了法兰西百年智慧的结晶。建筑设计是整个展览尤为重要的一个部分,不仅汇集了法国上个世纪各经典建筑的模型及图片,还对未来的住宅有着广阔的展望。 法国总统希拉克亲自为本展览题词:“《法国时尚展览》为‘美’与‘实用’两者之间的丰富对话注入了新的内容。我希望这个展览能够在中国公众心里引起特殊的共鸣,使他们通过法国的工业发明了解法国?
