December 23, 2014 Yang Dongquan, Director of the National Archives Bureau, proposed at the director meeting of the National Archives Bureau that “the modern archives should be plugged into the traditional archives work.” This is the expectations and requirements of the archives work, but also indicate the direction of the future development of archives in China. However, due to the differences among colleges and universities in our country, the lack of digitization of archives, the shortage of archivists and the fragmentation of archives information, leading to the uneven use of archives and services in colleges and universities.
