本研究旨在调查中国西部地区大学生词汇学习策略使用现状,分析导致目前现状的主要影响因素,并针对目前存在的问题,探索有效的,针对性强的解决途径。本研究以宁夏大学非英语专业二年级本科生为调查对象,通过问卷和访谈所获得的数据显示:西部地区大学生词汇学习策略使用情况不容乐观,策略使用单一,主要以机械记忆为主,其它策略使用频率极低,词汇策略知识贫乏,意识淡薄。
The purpose of this study is to investigate the status quo of using vocabulary learning strategies of undergraduates in western China and to analyze the main influential factors that lead to the current status quo and to find out the effective and pertinent solutions for the existing problems. In this study, the non-English major undergraduates of Ningxia University were selected as the second-year undergraduates. The data obtained from the questionnaires and interviews showed that the use of vocabulary learning strategies in undergraduates in the western region is not optimistic and the strategies are used singly. The main strategies are mechanical memory. Other strategies Very low frequency of use, lack of vocabulary strategy knowledge, weak consciousness.
