学校精神是一种学校精神文化现象,是每个学校在自己特定的文化背景上形成的意识形态。它具有鲜明的个性特征,是学校独具特质的精神品格,是一所学校的“精、气、神”。学校精神的核心是人文精神。人文精神就是要充分挖掘人的潜能,营造能够激发和强化人的积极性的宽松、和谐、团结、协作、竞争、激励的氛围,使广大师生在教与学的过程中能迸发出创新的智慧火花,实现自身价值。学校,作为教育的场所,除了要具备良好的硬件设施外,更重要的是要具备良好的教风、学风和一批名师等作为学校精神的软件。名师的道德修养、专业精神、教学经验和学问内蕴是一个学校的代表、一种标志,是其精神的象征。学校精神存在于校园内的一草一木、一砖一瓦,学校精神是师生灵魂中的点滴闪光。教师、学子可以离开校园,但永远离不去的是学校精神。
