1977年至今,新制度主义奠基性论文确立的核心命题得到了后继研究者的经验验证和部分拓展,关于组织趋同机制的研究日益深入和精细化。自1991年开始,新制度主义进入组织趋同与多样性并重的阶段,强调关注制度环境的异质性以及组织实践的多样性,提升了理论的包容性和解释力。但该理论仍存在诸多危机,例如研究主题过于狭窄;对组织多样性和差异性的研究缺少分析性概念和理论命题;研究视野过于微观化和工具化,缺少思想性突破。组织分析新制度主义能否在拓宽主题的过程中与不同流派制度主义进行对话、学习和吸收,是影响未来发展的关键。
Since 1977, the core propositions of the founding papers of neo-institutionalism have been verified by the successors and partially expanded. The research on the mechanism of organizational convergence has become more and more in-depth and refined. Since 1991, neo-institutionalism has entered the stage of both organizational convergence and diversity. It emphasizes the heterogeneity of the institutional environment and the diversity of organizational practices, and enhances the inclusiveness and explanatory power of the theory. However, there are still many crises in this theory. For example, research topics are too narrow. Analysis of organizational diversity and diversity lacks analytical concepts and theoretical propositions. Research perspectives are too microscopic and instrumental, and lack of ideological breakthroughs. Organizational analysis of the new institutionalism in the process of broadening the theme of dialogue with different schools of institutionalism, learning and absorption, is the key to influence the future development.
