I. Introduction to Writers Matsutani Miyoko is an outstanding and important female writer in the history of contemporary Japanese children’s literature. Born in Tokyo in 1926, he graduated from Toyo Girls’ High School and respected Ping Tian Tianzhi as a teacher.
