随着中国加入世界贸易组织进程的加快 ,我们正面临着严峻的文化问题。“入世”并非单纯的经济全球化 ,经济上的全球一体化同时伴随着西方以经济为后盾的强势文化对发展中国家弱势文化的深刻影响。在经济全球化进程中 ,西方文化正以其经济实力为基础形成一种文化帝国主义 ,对发展中国家进行文化上的外部扩张和内部改造 ,发展中国家在追求经济全球化过程中 ,同时谋求保持本民族文化特征及与发达国家的平等文化权利 ,殊为不易。普遍主义只是一种不切实际的幻想而已 ,需要强调的是在经济全球化进程中能真正实现国际各民族间的文化民主
