在国外,现今各种冷、热宽扎机的轧辊已广泛采用高铬铸铁来制造。乌克兰冶金科学研究所在对耐磨轧辊的高铬铸铁方面进行了大量研究工作。所研究的高铬铸铁含下列成份:Cr8—28%,C1.6—3.5%,Si0.5—1.0%,Mn0.5—1.7%,Mo0. 2—0.9%,Cu1.5—2.28%,Al0.5—1.0%和微量添加元素Ti和V。这种铸铁系在感应电炉中熔炼。其炉衬为酸性,底料为碳钢废块,铸造生铁(Л2-5)和低碳铬铁(ФХ025)。在铁水中还加入下列原料,使之进一步合金化:锰铁(φМН1.5),镍(Н3),钼铁(ФМ01),钦铁(ФТи20),钒铁(ВД1),电解铜,硅铁(ФС45)等。当铁水熔炼终了要出炉之
Abroad, all kinds of cold and hot rolling machines nowadays have widely used high-chrome cast iron for manufacturing. The Ukrainian Institute of Metallurgical Science has done a great deal of research work on high chromium cast irons for wear resistant rolls. The studied high-chromium cast iron contains the following components: Cr8-28%, C1.6-3.5%, Si0.5-1.0%, Mn0.5-1.7%, Mo0.2-0.9%, Cu1.5-2.28% Al 0.5-1.0% and trace addition of elements Ti and V.
