实现和发展人民民主,是中国共产党始终不渝的奋斗目标。在中国革命、建设和改革过程中,中国共产党领导人民积极开展争取人民民主的斗争,推翻了人压迫人的旧制度,建立了人民当家作主的人民政权,进行广泛深入的民主实践,为中国社会主义制度的巩固和经济社会的繁荣发展奠定了根本政治前提和制度基础。90年来,中国共产党为人民民主作出了具有深远影响的历史性贡献,积累了丰富经验。重温90年来中国共产党领导人民实现和发展人民民主的历程,对于我们面向21世纪,深刻认识人民民主事业在党和国家事业发展中的重要地位,继续坚定不移地推进人民民主具有重要意义。
To realize and develop people’s democracy is the unswerving goal of the Chinese Communist Party. During the process of China’s revolution, construction and reform, the Chinese Communist Party led the people to actively carry out the struggle for people’s democracy, overthrow the old system of oppression by the people, established the people’s government as the masters of the people, extensively and deeply democratic practice, The consolidation of the socialist system and the economic and social prosperity and development have laid the fundamental political and institutional foundation.
