The national propaganda ministerial meeting was held in Beijing from January 22 to January 25. Propaganda Ministers of Party Committees of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities specifically designated in the state plan, Propaganda Ministers of Work Committee of China Straightening Work Committee and Propaganda Work Committees of State Organs, Propaganda Ministers of the PLA General Political Department, Propaganda Ministers of All Armed Forces and Armed Police Headquarters, Central Propaganda and Cultural Systems Responsible comrades of units and relevant departments attended the meeting. Wang Renzhi, propaganda minister of the CPC Central Committee, made a report at the opening of the conference. Zeng Jianhui, deputy head of the Central Propaganda Team, Ai Zhisheng, minister of radio, film and television, Chen Changben, vice minister of the Ministry of Culture, and Liu Xun, deputy director of the Press and Publication Administration made speeches respectively during the conference to introduce the work plans of the four units this year.
