科学技术迅猛发展,国际竞争日趋激烈。社会的信息化和经济的全球化使创新精神与创新能力已成为影响我国发展的基本因素。培养学生的创新精神和创新能力将成为我国持续发展的动力和增强综合国力的基础。学校是知识创新、传播和应用的主要基地,也是培养创新型人才的摇篮。在学校教育中数学课程是最重要的学科之一,也是最能培养和锻炼学生思维的学科之一。通过学校教育中的数学学习使学生具备初步的创新精神和实践能力已成为数学教学改革的一个重点。
