随着社会经济的繁荣发展,唐代文学艺术也得到高度发展,唐代文学艺术的形式是诗歌和传奇,唐诗作为中国古代文学发展的重要里程碑,是古代文学艺术载体的巅峰,起源于汉魏时期志怪小说在唐代获得了新的创新,唐代文学艺术蓬勃发展,唐诗和传奇不再远离百姓生活,开始走进市井,从普通市井生活出发,充分吸取百姓喜闻乐见故事题材,展现每个人心中的思想,因此唐诗和唐传奇肩负着“诗以言志,文以载道”的现实功能,近代史学大师陈寅恪曾以诗文为史料,通过反复求证,纠正历史之谬,认真研究唐代诗歌和传奇中的廉政思想,有利于我们从社会生活方面更好的理解唐代廉政思想的传播和影响。
