英语阅读是学生提升英语知识,培养英语能力的重要途径,学生通过阅读,不仅可以获取和吸收英语语言信息,更可提高书面表达的能力。总体来说,培养学生英语阅读能力的途径有两个:一是借助课堂阅读教学;二是通过开展广泛课外阅读活动。相对于有限的课堂教学时间,课外阅读更为学生搭建了自主、开放的阅读空间,让学生在无拘无束的环境中凭借喜好去开展阅读。教学实践也证明,英语课外阅读开展得好,对于培养学生的阅读能力,
English reading is an important way for students to improve their knowledge of English and develop their English proficiency. Students can not only acquire and absorb English language information, but also improve their written expression. Generally speaking, there are two ways to cultivate students’ reading ability in English: one is to teach in class; the other is to carry out a wide range of extracurricular reading activities. Relative to the limited classroom teaching time, extra-curricular reading creates more independent and open reading space for students to read freely in an unfettered environment.
