近代台湾省爱国抗日志士丘逢甲，尝遭谣传“卷饷十万”，传播颇久，史界已 屡有考论。兹为续辨，祈求深入解决。一曰辨饷，考察战时台省军饷源流，以见丘氏“卷 饷”之可能性，实微乎其微。二曰辨案，考察战后查究台省军饷下落之诸案情形，以见浊 者自浊，而丘氏则清者自清。皆核验于甲午战争之当时当事也，庶几“卷饷”谎言，遂得 明白判断；丘氏人品，皎洁亦宜无复可疑耶。
