1946年6月,国民党反动派撕毁了停战协议,发动全面内战。我的父母当时在上海中共代表团工作。10月,和谈工作被迫中止,大部分同志撤回解放区,有少数人派到香港。10月下旬,周恩来和钱之光同志找父亲谈话:他的新岗位是参加中共香港工作委员会的工作,继续搞工商统战,负责党内财政并参加党刊《群众》的编辑工作。10月29日,我父母离开上海去香港了。而我仍在上海。 1948年初,因生活困难,七叔和八姑就带奶奶和我来到了香港。
In June 1946, the Kuomintang reactionaries torn up the armistice agreement and launched an all-out civil war. My parents worked for the CPC delegation in Shanghai at the time. In October, the peace talks were suspended and most of the comrades withdrew to the Liberated Areas. A small number of them were sent to Hong Kong. In late October, Zhou Enlai and Qian Guangguang talked to his father: his new job is to participate in the work of the Hong Kong Working Committee of the CCP, to continue with his work of merging the business of industry and commerce, to be responsible for the financial affairs within the party, and to participate in the editorial work of the party masses.
