风化过程通常发生在石头的孔隙系统中,孔隙空间对风化作用的控制是非常大的,孔隙可以用诸如孔隙体积、孔隙大小、孔隙形状、孔隙分布和孔隙表面积加以描述。砂岩是一种很普通的建筑材料,许多有历史价值的古代文明建筑甚至现代建筑都是由砂岩建造的。对危及到这些建筑物的风化作用,需要采取紧急的防护措施。因此急需要有关砂岩风化行为的知识。
The weathering process usually takes place in the pore system of the stone. The control of the weathering by the pore space is very large. The pores can be described by the pore volume, the pore size, the pore shape, the pore distribution and the pore surface area. Sandstone is a very common building material. Many historic civilization buildings and even modern buildings are constructed of sandstone. Urgent protective measures are needed to endanger the weathering effect of these buildings. Therefore, there is an urgent need for knowledge about the weathering behavior of sandstone.
