All districts and counties, people’s governments and municipal departments directly under the Central Government: On May 15, the State Education Commission, the Ministry of Urban Construction, the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Health jointly held a telephone conference on school safety in the whole country to brief them on some vicious accidents in schools in various places in recent years. From January last January to April this year alone, according to statistics on the collapse of school premises in 14 primary, primary and kindergartens, 64 primary and secondary schoolchildren and young children were killed and 168 were wounded.
