人民教育出版社出版的《语文(5)必修(教师教学用书)》第六课《逍遥游》“问题探究”中有“综观其书,确如司马迁所言,《庄子》全书大小寓言共计二百多个,数量之多,运用频率之高使他人只能望其项背”一句。笔者认为句中的“望其项背”其实是“望尘莫及”的误用。我们先看看这两个词语在商务印书馆《现代汉语词典(第六版)》具体含义:【望其项背】能够望见别人的颈的后部和脊背,表示赶得上或比得上。【望尘莫及】只望见走在前面的人带起的尘土而追赶
