In recent years, we have developed some really useful Chinese information retrieval systems and library automation systems in the bibliographic retrieval system, rarely highlight the nature and characteristics of Chinese characters. In this way, the overall efficiency of some existing practical information retrieval systems in our country not only fails to break through the overall efficiency of the phonetic retrieval system, but also is lower in some indicators. Therefore, how to establish an information retrieval system with Chinese characteristics in order to improve the overall efficiency of the Chinese information retrieval system is undoubtedly a topic worthy of study, combining with the characteristics of our national languages. Focusing on the overall efficiency of Chinese information retrieval system, this paper analyzes the efficiency of the retrieval system from the aspects of document indexing and retrieval system (including the retrieval mode and the document structure of the retrieval system)
