20世纪初的新艺术运动是大众文化至上的一种艺术设计风格。本质上是为表现一种线条装饰倾向或潮流。勒内·拉利克是新艺术运动中珠宝设计的杰出代表,其设计的作品具有强烈的自然与古典主义风格。他的设计主要是以大自然为素材并融合了其丰富的艺术想象力,设计灵感源于东方艺术、古典风格以及现代艺术的某一特点。因此,也被称为“没有时间限制的风格”。
