The 2016 Shanghai Biomedical Engineering Development Forum, sponsored by Shanghai Biomedicine Science and Technology Promotion Center and Shanghai Medical Association Clinical Medical Engineering Branch, was successfully held in Shanghai International Convention Center on June 22, 2016. More than 100 people, including equipment and related personnel from hospitals above the designated level in Shanghai, experts from biomedical engineering colleges and research institutes, and manufacturing, sales and suppliers of medical equipment, attended the meeting. The morning’s opening ceremony and forum were chaired by Cao Shaoping, vice chairman of clinical medicine engineering branch of Shanghai Medical Association.
