中国的西部是一片广袤而深邃的土地,在漫长的历史进程中,中华民族在这片黄天厚土上生息繁衍,创造了世界四大文明之一的独具特色的华夏文明。 在党中央、国务院发出“西部大开发”的号召后,我们组成剧组,走进西部腹地,走进西部历史深处,发掘和再现影响中国西部历史变迁的动因,展示这片土地中丰厚的人文资源,历时一年半,为大家奉献上这一部二十集大型电视系列片《西部的发现》。
