6月14日～16日,由全国政协主办的“21世纪论坛”2000年会议在北京举行。本次会议的主题是“经济全球化——亚洲与中国”。朱镕基总理到会演讲,戴相龙行长及石广生部长、国际舞台上的一些知名人士、重要国际机构的主要官员、中外从事国际问题研究的著名专家学者以及中外著名企业家等,做了精彩发言。澳大利亚前总理约翰·马尔科姆·弗雷泽的演讲一开始就很耐人回味:“全球化对政府行为有着重要影响。不同政治体系下的政府对全球化规则的接受程度有着巨大差别。中国和亚洲从全球化的机遇中获取了巨大利益,同时也付出了巨大代价,面临着巨大的风险。”这一开场白引起了本刊记者的浓厚兴趣。在弗雷泽先生下榻的饭店,他接受了我们的采访。
