新试剂间三氟甲基偶氮氯膦(2-[2-(5-氯苯膦酸)—偶氮]-7-(3-三氟甲基苯基偶氮)—1,8—二羟基萘—3,6—二磺酸)属于不对称变色酸双偶氮衍生物。在酸性溶液中该试剂与稀土元素生成稳定的络合物。试剂与各稀土元素的显色反应存在一定的差异性,适当的掩蔽剂如草酸存在时可进一步扩大这种差异性,且草酸对铈组稀土元素的显色反应无明显影响,但却可以掩蔽一定量的钇组稀土元素,从而建立了在钇组稀土元素存在下测定铈组稀土元素的分析方法。
