日本殖民统治大连期间,旅顺监狱作为其法律制度中刑罚制度的具体实施单位,刑罚制度的演变过程与日本殖民统治的不断强化同步进行。文章通过对旅顺监狱刑罚制度演变过程的论述,以及惩罚种类的分析,指出其演变和实施的实质就是为了镇压反抗运动,巩固日本的殖民统治。 During the Japanese colonial rule in Dalian, Lushun Prison was the concrete unit of the penalty system in its legal system. The evolution of the penalty system was in step with the continuous strengthening of Japanese colonial rule. Through the exposition of the evolvement process of Lushun Jail Penalty System and the analysis of the types of punishment, the article points out that the essence of its evolution and implementation is to suppress the resistance movement and consolidate Japan’s colonial rule.
