从“明天计划”工作启动到2013年10月底为止,甘肃省“明天计划”共为2266名孤残儿童实施手术,手术成功率达99%。全省有近百名手术康复儿童被国内外家庭收(领)养。“明天计划”的实施,不仅使一大批孤残儿童得到及时救治,而且为他们回归家庭、走向社会创造了条件、奠定了基础。完善工作机制密切协助配合“明天计划”工作的开展,得到了甘肃省各地党委政府的高度重视和大力支持,大部分党政领导亲自担任工作领导小组组长,经常过问工作进展情况,拍板解决工作中
