On September 29, 1988, the editorial department of “Group of Speech” jointly held a forum with the Beijing Municipal Committee of the NLD to discuss price and inflation issues. The meeting was presided over by Professor Wang Chuanlun, director of the Economic Commission of Beijing Municipal Committee of the Democratic League.
