长期以来,整体基础的拱涵都是按刚性基础设计的,所以在低、中高度填土情况下,基础的圬工数量很大,另外不论拱顶填土高低、外力大小,均采用同一结构尺寸,在设计上有一定的不足之处。现介绍的板凳式基础拱涵是按弹性基础设计的,由于基础减薄产生了弹性变形而影响拱圈,两者互有影响。按弹性基础设计的板凳式基础拱涵与刚性基础拱涵相比(图1、2),可以节省圬工(约10—50%)和减轻劳动强度,亦可改变刚性基础在不同情况均采用同一结构尺寸的问题。
